2nd IAA Latin American Conference on Space and Society

Time and place: June 1 to 6, 2026; Salta, Argentina.

You are invited to contribute with a paper for presentation at the conference. 

Suggested topics: National Space Programs. Space Law and Sustainability. Education. Worldwide Missions. Latin American missions. Interplanetary Missions. Small Satellites. Small Launch Vehicles. Nanosatellites/Cubesats. Subsystem Technologies. Applications for Latin America. Analog Missions. AI on space activities. Cybersecurity. Other topics.

A one-page, single-spaced abstract of no less than 350 and no more than 600 words is required for the selection process.
The abstract must be in English. Student papers are encouraged.

Presentations during the conference will be in English. Exceptionally, presentations in Spanish will be considered (translation services will be available during parts of the conference).

Abstract submission deadline: February 15, 2026 (later submissions will be accepted, with lower priority)

Acceptance notification: February 20, 2026 (for early notification, needed for authorization to travel or trip planning, please contact us, and it will be evaluated case by case.)

Super Early bird registration deadline: December 15, 2025

Early bird registration deadline: March 15, 2026

Full paper submission deadline: June 1, 2026  (later submission will be accepted, but inclusion in proceedings is not guaranteed)
