Dr. Chantal Cappelletti is a member of the International Academy of Astronautics, currently working as Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham (UK), where she is also the Space theme Leader for the Institute of Aerospace Technology, a member of the Nottingham Geospatial Institute (NGI) and an affiliated member of the Mechanical and Aerospace Systems (MAS) group. Her activities are mostly focused on Space Systems, Small Satellites, and STEAM Educational programs. She has led several satellite missions involving students from different countries, and supported and advised several student teams around the world to develop and launch their own satellite system.
She is the chair of the IAA Latin American CubeSat workshops and co-chair of the IAA Conference on University Satellite Missions and CubeSat Workshop.
