Marco Antonio Chamon has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas, a master’s degree in Engineering and Space Technology from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) and a PhD in Electronics from the National Higher School of Aeronautics and Space, Toulouse/France. He was Coordinator of Engineering and Space Technology and coordinator of Planning, Budget and Evaluation at INPE. His interests focus on the areas of Estimation Theory, Project Management and Space Systems Engineering. He is currently president of the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB).
