Program Executive for NASA’s Roman Space Telescope at NASA
Dr. Lucas Paganini is the Program Executive for NASA’s Roman Space Telescope at NASA Headquarters, overseeing mission development for the next astrophysics flagship mission to explore dark energy, dark matter, and exoplanets. Previously, he served as Program Scientist for the Juno mission and the ESA-led JUICE mission, and as Program Executive for the Europa Lander concept. He was a Research Associate Professor at American University, collaborating with NASA on several projects, including the detection of water vapor on Europa. With over 30 scientific publications, he holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the University of Freiburg, Germany, and a Master’s in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Mendoza, Argentina.
